Mustangs Ride Dominant Defense to Win Over Angelo State
The Western New Mexico football team benefited from a stingy defense all day long as they limited Angelo State to just 276 yards and forced four turnovers on their way to claiming a 20-14 Lone Star Conference victory Saturday afternoon.
The win for WNMU (3-6, 3-4 LSC) snaps a four-game slide and moves them within a game of being .500 in the conference standings.

After a big offside penalty kept the drive alive, senior Javia Hal found sophomore Henry Norman twice on the drive, with the last being a 19-yard strike for the touchdown and a 7-0 lead nearly five minutes into the game...Complete Release
