Needs - DL, LB, DB (Rams don't lose many, but level of play must get better)
Depth - OL, RB, QB (good players in place, just need more)
Okay - WR (not scheduled to lose anyone)
Angelo State is very young, and could use help all over (even more depth at WR wouldn't be a bad thing.)
That was the synopsis, but surprisingly the Rams have only announced 9 signings so far. Coach Carr is expecting immediate help from the JC transfers - RB Dwight Pete, WR Robert Boone, DL Calvin France, and LB Sir'Ron DeWitt. The HS group is small in number and is highlighted by OL Andrew Krutsinger.
Overall Grade C -
It doesn't appear the defense got nearly the help needed to improve drastically from last year. Unless more signings are on the way, improvement will have to come from the current roster. Offensively, the Rams didn't need as much immediate help and added some pieces for the future.
