- WT - hottest team in the LSC over the second half of 2009, riding a 6 game winning streak
- ACU - should be top defense in the league, offensive consistency is key to 2010
- TAMK - Offense could be as good or better than last year, defense should be improved
- TSU - had to replace a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, time will tell how well they did
- MSU - Top player in LSC is back, but Mustangs lost a lot of supporting cast
- TAMC - Is this another breakeven year, or will the Lions break out?
- ASU - Could have been the best team in nation to finish sixth in their own conference
- SOSU - Savage Storm expected to be one of top two teams in LSC North as usual.
- ENMU - Now that the 'Hounds have escaped the South, can they contend for a divisional title?
- UCO - Still young Bronchos are likely a year or two away from playoff contention.
- UIW - team is talented, but young, inexperienced and does not appear to have much depth.
- ECU - team was close in most LSC North games, and looks like it upgraded talent-wise across the board.
- NSU - Riverhawks should be better, but that might not translate into more wins.
- SWO - Bulldogs improved, and could nudge up a couple of spots, but not ready to contend for title.
(Teams in red are playoff contenders)

After seeing this, tell me why we are concerned that the north schools are leaving?
who is concerned?
Watch the 7th ranked team this year......they simply may surprise everyone.
