ANNOUNCING THE ’13 SUMMER EDITION OF DAVE CAMPBELL’S
TEXAS FOOTBALL MAGAZINE
The 54th installment of the
southwest’s leading football source hits newsstands on friday
“Encore!”
The annual summer edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine will soon be on racks (June 21) all across
Texas! Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel is on the cover, fresh off his Heisman
Trophy victory and the Aggies’ scintillating first year of SEC play. Pick up a
copy to read about the unique challenges that face the state’s first returning
Heisman winner since 1940s — and what must happen for Kevin Sumlin’s team to
once again contend in the rugged SEC West.
“I
think everyone knew that Johnny was the only correct choice here — there’s no
doubt in anyone’s mind that he deserves it,” Stewart said. “So then the
question became, ‘How do we tell his story in a fresh and interesting way?’,
and ‘How do we best encapsulate who he is and what he represents in just one
photo?’ He’s now one of the biggest figures in Texas Football history, and we wanted to make sure that status was
well-represented.”
