WT, MSU, ASU and TWU win in day one action
WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Due to unplayable field conditions at the City of Wichita Falls Softball Complex, the schedule for the Lone Star Conference Showcase has been modified.
Eight games over the next two days will now be played at Mustangs Park on the Midwestern State campus in lieu of the original eight-team, 24-game format.
Games to complete a four-game set between teams that have already played a conference series this season will be played. The remaining games will be made up during regularly scheduled series over the remainder of the season. Slated three-game sets will now be played in two doubleheaders -- four games.
Here is the modified schedule for the LSC Showcase:
Friday, March 14
West Texas A&M vs. Cameron, 11 a.m.
Texas A&M-Kingsville vs. Tarleton State, 1:30 p.m.
Angelo State vs. Texas Woman's, 4 p.m.
Eastern New Mexico vs. Midwestern State, 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 15
Texas Woman's vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville, 10 a.m.
