Update: Texas A&M-Kingsville 9-2 over St. Edwards in the opening game of the South Central Regional Baseball tournament.  West Texas A&M beats Tarleton State 13-10, and the top seed/host Colorado Mesa Mavericks overcome an 8-0 deficit, beating New Mexico Highlands 9-8.

Total of 754 qualifiers to compete in 2014 DII track and field championships





INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Committee has announced the participants for the 2014 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships. A total of 754 participants, 377 men and 377 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event. The complete list of qualifiers is available at www.primetimetiming.com/liveresults/2014/ncaa_outdoor. Heat sheets will be available at this same website May 19.
The championships will be held May 22-24 in Allendale, Michigan, at the Grand Valley State Track and Field Stadium. Grand Valley State and the West Michigan Sports Commission will serve as co-hosts of the championships. Portions of the championships will be streamed live on NCAA.com each day.
