LSC Scoop Power Poll and Rankings

LSC Scoop Power Poll
  1. Texas A&M-Commerce - didn't allow Angelo to sully a great season
  2. Midwestern State - finding ways to win
  3. Eastern New Mexico - so close to a historic season
  4. Angelo State - try to salvage disappointing season at ENMU
  5. West Texas A&M - much closer than expected at OPSU
  6. Texas A&M-Kingsville - put four quarters together
  7. Tarleton State - will they break their scoring record again?
First of all, no one likes the LSC Football playoffs - not the teams and by attendance figures, fans either.  Despite all of the complaints, it has produced some really good games.  The upper bracket had two nailbiters that easily could have resulted in upset road wins for Angelo State and Eastern New Mexico.  The consolation bracket had a slight upset in Stephenville and nearly a huge upset at Oklahoma Panhandle State. Last year, the upper bracket had four exciting games that also easily could have gone the other way.  It was a necessary evil, but at least the games were not boring.
