Aaron Bueno - a 6-3, 205-pound quarterback from Alice, TX. He was named the Texas State 1A Offensive MVP following his senior year at Ben Bolt High School. He earned First Team All-State honors at quarterback and Honorable Mention All-State honors as a defensive back. He was named the District MVP on two occasions, the South Texas MVP in 2010 and an All-South Texas First Team defensive back. He set the school passing record as a sophomore. He threw for 2,460 yards and rushed for 1,314 yards during the 2010 season. He completed 132 of 186 passes with 23 touchdowns and just six interceptions. He also ran for 24 touchdowns. He led Ben Bolt to a pair of district championships and one Bi-district championship. He also lettered in baseball, basketball, track and powerlifting. He is the son of David and Cynthia Bueno and plans to study Kinesiology.


Jagger Lopez - a 6-2, 180-pound quarterback from San Antonio, TX. He passed for 3,100 yards and 32 touchdowns over his final two seasons at East Central High School. As a senior, he was the District 28-5A MVP and earned Second Team All-Area 5A honors while leading East Central to a perfect district record. He set the school single game record with six passing touchdowns while completing 23-of-26 passes for 322 yards in a win over Seguin. As a junior, he earned Honorable Mention All-District 27-5A honors and was named the team MVP after passing for 1,292 yards. He is the son of Eddie Lopez and is undecided on his field of study.

Alex Dean - a 6-0, 190-pound quarterback from Pflugerville, TX. He earned all-district honors as a senior. He went 13-of-16 for 307 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Georgetown. He led Pflugerville to a Bi-district championship as a junior en route to earning Second Team All-District 25-5A honors. He is the son of Alex and Rebecca Dean and plans to study Engineering.

Tanner Sparks - a 5-11, 190-pound quarterback from Corpus Christi, TX. He led Calallen HS to three state playoff appearances, including a Semifinal appearance as a senior. He was a two-time first team all-district and All-South Texas choice. As a senior, he rushed for 1,093 yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 61 percent of his passes for 1,988 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was part of a regional finalist 4x400-meter relay team. He is the son of Scott and Lisa Sparks and plans to study Industrial Technology.

Marquise Cardinal, Jr. - a 5-9, 170-pound running back from Spring, TX. He earned First Team All-District 13-5A honors in 2010 at Klein Collins High School. He set the school single season rushing record with 1,807 yards for an average of 150 per game. He was named to the All-1960 Sun First Team and All-Greater Houston Honorable Mention by VYPE Magazine. He led Klein Collins to back-to-back District 13-5A championships and a pair of 10-0 regular seasons. He was a State 5A qualifier as a junior in the 4x100 relay. He is the son of Mary Brinson and plans to study Computer Science.

Jai Cavness – RB - 5’8 – 198 – Houston, TX – TCU
TCU: Cavness appeared in seven games in 2009. He rushed for a season-best 29 yards on just four attempts at San Diego State. In 2008, he placed seventh on TCU with 134 yards rushing. He saw action in eight games and ran for a season-best 59 yards on 11 carries in the 67-7 win over Stephen F. Austin. He scored his first collegiate touchdown on a 13-yard run for the Frogs' final points of the game. He also tallied TCU's final points with a 1-yard TD rush in the 44-14 victory at UNLV while totaling 51 yards, including a season-long 24-yard carry, against the Rebels. High School: Cavness played in the Under Armour All-America game after starring at Thurgood Marshall High School. He earned first-team all-district as a junior and senior and second-team All-Greater Houston Area and all-region. He was a member of the Texas Prep Extra All-Area Top 60 team. He was ranked in the top 60 for running backs in the nation by Rivals.com and Scout.com and was also ranked in the top 20 in the state and the top 10 in the Houston area. He made Scout.com's Top Texas 100 Playmakers list and Dave Campbell's Top 300 Playmakers Team. He was nominated for the prestigious Houston Touchdown Club Player of the Year award. He scored a touchdown in the East Meets West All-American Game. He was a team captain for three years at Marshall HS and was named his school's Offensive Most Valuable Player after rushing for 1,205 yards and nine touchdowns on an 8.1 per carry average his senior year. He ran for 636 yards and five touchdowns as a junior. He closed his prep career as Marshall's all-time leading rusher with 2,195 yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging 8.3 yards per attempt. He was a three-year letterman in football and track & field and holds the school record in the 40-yard dash (4.3) and 100 meters (10.5). He was a teammate of current Javelinas Sherman Batiste, Kendrick Matthews and Jonathon Woodson. Personal: Cavness is the son of Francois and Erica Carrire and is studying Communications with a minor in Journalism. He is the cousin of Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas.

Randall Toney – RB – 5’11 – 210 – Hendersonville, TN – UT-Chattanooga
Previous: Toney went through spring practice at UT-Chattanooga, but did not compete during the season after playing a year at Dean College in Franklin, Mass. He led Dean to a 10-1 record in 2008 and was named the MVP of the GCCC Bowl Game. He saw action in seven games, gaining 258 yards and scoring two touchdowns. High School: Toney was a 2006 Tennesse Mr. Football Finalist while playing for Station Camp High School. He was named the 4-3A Region MVP, the All-County Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-State 3A. He rushed for 2,100 yards on 181 carries as a senior and 1,006 yards as a junior. He led Station Camp to a 10-2 record as a senior. Personal: Toney is the son of Wendell and Lolita Toney and is studying Communications with a minor in Marketing. His father played defensive end at Middle Tennessee.

DJ Seay - a 6-2, 205-pound wide receiver from Van Alstyne, TX. He was named the MVP for Van Alstyne High School as a senior. He earned all-district honors as a junior and a senior. During his senior year he was named to the All-Dallas-Fort Worth Area 3A Team. He led his team to a District 10-3A championship in 2009 and made two playoff appearances. He was also an all-district basketball player. He is the son of Alan and Ginger Seay and plans to study Kinesiology.

Alex Bennett - a 5-10, 165-pound wide receiver from Houston, TX. He played at Westbury High School.

James Gilbert - a wide receiver/defensive back from Houston, TX. He played at Galena Park High School.

Jovan Thomas - a wide receiver from San Antonio, TX. He played at Stevens High School.

Tyler Chauvin - an offensive guard from Cedar Park, TX. He earned First Team All-District 25-4A honors as a senior at Cedar Park High School.

Ollie Brady, Jr. - a 6-2, 305-pound offensive guard from Missouri City, TX. He helped Elkins High School to a pair of State 5A playoff apperances. He is the son of Deon Stanford and Janelle Mayfield and plans to study Mechanical Engineering.

Benji Mota - a 6-1, 240-pound center from Laredo, TX. He earned all-city and all-district honors at J.B. Alexander High School as a senior. He helped lead his team to the third round of the State playoffs. He is the son of Venancio and Marta Mota and plans to study Kinesiology.

Brandon Reasor - a 6-4, 265-pound offensive tackle from San Antonio, TX. He earned first team all-district honors as a senior at Ronald Reagan High School. He helped lead his team to the playoffs as a junior and was named the top offensive lineman on the team. He is the son of Matt and Lisa Reasor and plans to study Political Science.

Chima Ubabuike - an offensive lineman from San Antonio, TX. He earned First Team All-District 27-5A honors as a senior at Warren High School.

Andrew Shows - a 6-4, 280-pound offensive tackle from Corpus Christi, TX. He helped lead Calallen HS to three state playoff appearances, including a Semifinal spot as a senior. As a senior, he was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in the district and earned First Team All-South Texas honors. As a junior, he was a first team all-district and Third Team All-South Texas selection. He was named Academic All-District on two occasions. He is the son of Lindsey and Mary Shows and plans to study Engineering.

Pat Daniel – C – 6’2 – 280 – Mesquite, TX – Tyler Junior College
TJC: Daniel played two seasons at Tyler Junior College. High School: Daniel played football at North Mesquite High School. Personal: Daniel is the son of Patrick and Tammy Daniel and is studying Criminology with a minor in Agriculture.

Kevin Joseph - a 6-0, 220-pound defensive end from Missouri City, TX. He earned Second Team All-District 23-5A honors in 2010 at Elkins High School. He is the son of Joel and Joy Joseph and plans to study Pre-Physical Therapy.

Eddie Kelly – DT – 6’1 – 312 – Van Nuys, CA – Santa Monica College
Santa Monica – Kelly played one year at Santa Monica College under head coach Robert Taylor. High School: Kelly played three sports at Arleta High School. He earned first team all-league, all-city and all-area honors en route to leading his team to a perfect 14-0 record and a City Championship. He was named a Scholar-Athlete on two occasions. Personal: Kelly is the son of Archie and Delilah Kelly and is studying History Law.

Josh Vallejo - a 6-0, 262-pound defensive lineman from Brownsville, TX. He was a three-time all-district performer at Brownsville Porter High School. As a sophomore he earned second team all-district honors. During his junior year he received first team all-district considerations. In 2010, he was named the District Defensive Player of the Year. He is the son of Jesse and Veronica Vallejo and plans to study Business.

Aarom Whalon - a defensive tackle from San Antonio, TX. He earned Second Team All-District 25-5A honors as a senior at Judson High School.

Cornelius Richardson - a 5-10, 215-pound linebacker from Missouri City, TX. He earned second team all-district honors as a senior at Elkins High School. He received honorable mention all-city status from the Houston Chronicle. He was a top 10% camper at the Nike Combine. He is the son of Nathan and Yolanda Richardson and plans to study Kinesiology.

Angelo Looney – DB – 5’10 – 185 – Fullerton, CA – Compton College
Compton College: Looney played two seasons at Compton College where he earned Second Team All-Mountain Conference honors. High School: Looney led Fullerton Troy HS with 97 tackles, five sacks, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries as a senior. He was a Second Team All-Freeway League linebacker and helped lead the Warriors to the CIF-SS Semifinals. Personal: Looney is the son of Angelo Looney, Sr. and Gina Woullard and is studying Communications. He has an uncle and cousin who have both played in the NFL.

Trevor Pesek – S – 5’11 – 208 – Inez, TX – Blinn College
Blinn College: Pesek went through a year of spring practice at Blinn, but did not compete during the fall season. High School: Pesek competed in three sports at Industrial High School. He earned first team all-district and All-County MVP honors as a senior. He led Industrial to a pair of playoff appearances. He was an Academic Honorable Mention All-State 2A selection. Personal: Pesek is the son of Ronnie and Kellie Pesek and is studying Kinesiology.

Demontrelle Smith – FS – 6’1 – 210 – Land O’Lakes, FL – The Citadel
The Citadel: Smith lettered three seasons at The Citadel. In 2010, he appeared in eight games making 12 tackles breaking up three passes. He played in all 11 games in 2009. He recorded three solo and two assisted tackles at No. 21 North Carolina. He made two tackles, one for a loss of three yards at Princeton. He recorded a career-high of nine tackles at No. 10 Elon. He finished the season with 16 solo and 14 assisted tackles for a total of 30, including one for a loss of three yards and two pass breakups. In 2008, he played in 11 games, starting in seven. He recorded a season-high five tackles on three occasions, including five solo tackles at No. 3 Florida, and four solo and one assisted at Samford. He finished the season 11th on the team in tackles with 36 total tackles, 21 solo and 15 assisted, including 1.0 for a loss of two yards and four pass breakups. He was named to the Southern Conference Inaugural All-Freshman Team. High School: Smith graduated from North Marion High School in 2008. He lettered three years in basketball and football. He earned first team All-Area and third team All-State in football and two years second team All-Area in basketball. During his junior season in football made 29 catches for 465 yards and five touchdowns and in his senior year he recorded 60 tackles and five interceptions. He led his team to a 12-2 record during his senior season. Personal: Smith is the son of Richard White and Diedre Smith and is studying Business.

Lamont Hills - a defensive back from San Antonio, TX. He earned Second Team All-District 27-5A honors as a senior at Stevens High School.
