WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State remembers Jerome Taylor tonight in a service at Akin Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Taylor, who lettered for MSU in 2004 and 2005, died Saturday morning after a battle with leukemia.

“He was a really good team member and was really caring,” MSU coach Bill Maskill said. “He was a little bit of a loner, but was a very giving and caring person who was very strong-willed. He touched a lot of people with his attitude work ethic and character.”

Taylor was a second-team All-Lone Star Conference South Division pick at tackle in 2005 after helping the Indians to their first NCAA Division II playoff appearance as a starter in 2004.
