LSC North Women's
Renee Renz, Texas Woman's University, Sr., F, Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound
Renz scored a career-best 34 points, pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds, blocked one shot, recorded three steals and dished out two assists in the Pioneers' dramatic double-overtime win over St. Edward's. The 2007-08 Lone Star Conference South Division Newcomer of the Year is averaging 18.5 points and 13.8 rebounds per game for the season. She currently leads the LSC in rebounds and is third in the conference in scoring.

LaKeisha Jones, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Sr., Center, Winnsboro, La./Crowville
Jones had a huge week for the Javelinas leading the team to a 2-0 record at its Turkey Day Shootout Tournament. She had 22 points and 14 rebounds while making 10-of-10 free throws in an 80-74 win over Central Missouri on Friday. On Saturday, she was key to the team's dramatic comeback from 19 points down with 15 minutes to play against #10 Emporia State. She scored 23 points in just 22 minutes, going 8-for-14 from the floor and 7-of-8 at the line with nine rebounds.
LSC North Men's
Cardell Hunter, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Jr., Guard, Dallas, Texas/Carter HS/UT-Arlington
Scored a season-high 22 points and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds in his first career double double to lead A&M-Commerce to a 85-67 win over No. 14 Tarleton State on Tuesday night. Hunter also made seven of eight free throws as the Lions knocked off the nationally ranked Texans in a team-high 34 minutes of action. Defensively, he joined in on the efforts to hold Tarleton State guard Tyrone Cole-Scott to eight points and four turnovers.

Dannon Wafer, Eastern New Mexico University, Jr., Guard, Galveston, Texas/Trinity Valley CC/Galveston Ball HS
Wafer's performance last week lifted the Greyhounds to victories over University of the Southwest and previously undefeated New Mexico Highlands. He recorded his second double-double (16 points, 12 rebounds) of the season against Highlands, a team that had not previously trailed in the second half this season, connecting on 75 percent of his eight attempts from the free throw line.
