McMurry at Incarnate Word
Interesting matchup of an LSC team on the way out, against a rumored to be future LSC team. The last time McMurry played in San Antonio, they shocked UTSA in the Alamodome. UIW is playing some defense this year, and should take this one. UIW 21-17.
Texas A&M-Kingsville at Tarleton State
matchup of two teams that have not quite lived up to expectations. Whoever makes the least mistakes should take this one. Homefield advantage goes to Tarleton. Texans win 28-24.
Texas A&M-Commerce at Angelo State
The Lions are not going to go winless this year, but it could be another one win campaign. Angelo State may or may not be about to turn the corner. They took MSU down to the wire last week, and need to avoid a letdown against the Lions. ASU 35-14.
West Texas A&M at Eastern New Mexico
There have been some really spirited battles in this rivalry, but there is nothing other than pride to suggest that this year bring more of the same. The Buffaloes have just looked like a team that should roll through this one. WTAM 45-14.
Game of the Week
Midwestern State at Abilene Christian
Not sure this is the homecoming matchup ACU wanted, but it is what it is. MSU is definitely more talented than the Wildcats, but ACU is the most opportunistic team in the LSC. Mustangs keep the WT matchup important, MSU 42-24.
