LSC Basketball Coach headed to UT-Arlington

Krista Gerlich 2012Adam Ostrow (@nwnAdam and the sports director at NewsChannel 6 in Wichita Falls) has told us that Krista Gerlich is leaving West Texas A&M and heading to the University of Texas at Arlington.

Gerlich's Lady Buff's compiled a 168-53 record in seven seasons with 3 conference championships and four divisional titles.

Angelo State starting QB not returning
Angelo State Head Football Coach Will Wagner has confirmed to KLST Sports that starting quarterback Blake Hamblin will not return for his redshirt senior season. Hamblin who is graduating in May will then immediately start Dental School.

LSC Baseball 
Texas A&M Kingsville is the only LSC team ranked, holding on to the #23 slot in the College Baseball Lineup Poll.  In the D2Baseball Regional poll, they are ranked #3, the highest LSC school listed.  Tarleton State is #5, Angelo State #6, Incarnate Word #7, ACU #9 and WTAM is #10.
