TREVOR STAFFORD

  • Had 50 receptions for 738 yards and rushed for 691 yards on 101 carries as a senior.
  • Recorded eight receiving and five rushing touchdowns as a senior.
  • Ran for 865 yards on 100 carries as a junior with three touchdowns.
  • District 10-4A first-team basketball player as a junior.
  • Is averaging 15.3 points per game for McKinney on the baseball court as a senior.
  • Named the defensive MVP in basketball and to the all-region team
  • Four-year letterman in football and basketball at McKinney

  • Had five double-digit tackle games in 2012
  • Recorded 88 tackles (8.8 per game) and 5.5 sacks as junior
  • Had two 14-tackle games as a senior
  • Had three sacks in a Frisco Liberty win over Frisco Heritage as junior

JACOB BURTCH
QB, 6-2, 205, Seminole High/Seminole, Texas


Will Wagner on Jacob Burtch: 
"Jacob is an athletic QB that brings in tremendous leadership skills.  He is a student of the game both on and off the field that will make him a high quality QB in the LSC in the future.  The fact that he enrolled early will only help his development."



At Seminole High School:
  • Played quarterback for father, Chris Burtch (Angelo State Alum) at Seminole High.
  • Threw for 2,211 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 563 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior.
  • He had a season high 396 yards as a senior.
  • 2,211 passing, 543 rushing, 29 passing and 7 rushing touchdowns as a junior
  • 2,919 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, 563 rushing yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore
  • Texas Sports Writers Association Honorable Mention Quarterback in 2011
  • Texas Sports Writers Association First team as punter in 2012
  • Named District 2-3A Co-Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2012
  • Named 2012 All-Permian Basin Utility Player as a senior

DOUG ELLIOT
DB, 6-1, 205, Mt. San Jacinto Community College/Norco High/Norco, Calif.




At Mt. San Jacinto Community College:
  • Named all-conference at Mt. San Jacinto Community College
  • Recorded 56 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles at San Jacinto Community College
At Norco High:
  • As a senior at Norco High registered 47 tackles and six interceptions
  • Recorded 47 tackles and six interceptions as a senior at Norco High

DAVID DAMIAN
OL, 6-6, 285, Stephen F. Austin / Abilene Cooper / Abilene, Texas


At Stephen F. Austin:
  • Played in three games as a sophomore and seven as a freshman
  • Appeared in three games as a sophomore at SFA.
  •  A key member in the 'Jacks offensive line that led the nation in pass protection surrendering fewer sacks than anyone else in the country
  • Played in seven games during freshman season, earning starts against Lamar and McNeese State
  • Graded out at 80 percent
  •  Finished the season listed second on the depth chart at left guard
  • SFA offense finished the year as the FCS passing offense national champion, and finished among the nation's top 20 in sacks allowed.
At Abilene Cooper:
  • Led the Cooper Cougars to 9-4 record, a district title and a Class 4A area title as a senior
  • Named to all-Big Country team by Abilene Reporter News
  • Graded out at 92 percent with 88 knockdowns
  • Named first team all-District 4-4A selection
