AD Search: Carr to make second visit
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Florida State Senior Associate Athletics Director Charlie Carr has been invited back to the Midwestern State University campus for a second visit Friday as the school continues its search for its next athletics director.
Carr’s second visit follows a round of on-campus interviews by finalists selected by a national search committee which also included University of Wisconsin-Parkside AD David Williams, former Eastern New Mexico AD Rosie Stallman and Newberry (S.C.) AD Andrew Carter.
Carr is an experienced athletics administrator of 30 years who has served the last 13 in his current capacity at Florida State University. He previously served in similar roles at East Carolina University, Mississippi State University and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
The search for a new athletics director began when Ed Harris announced his retirement in August.

Tired of playing 2nd fiddle.
Good point. Commerce just took someone from this exact position from SMU. SMU obviously isn't Florida State, but alot of these guys want to run their own program after awhile of answering to someone else every day.
