According to the Brenham Banner, Kyler Crenshaw will not be going to Canyon this fall after all. Instead, he has signed a baseball scholarship with Angeline College, a junior college in the Region 14 Conference.
Crenshaw was an honorable mention all-state pick in football throwing for 1,932 yards, with 17 TDs. On the diamond, he was a third team all-state selection this spring, hitting .427, with 13 doubles and 2 home runs to with 46 RBI. He will join former BHS Cub Chris Andreas at Angeline.
West Texas A&M still expects to have QB recruits Kevin Smith, Tanner Marsh, and Shayne Johnson report in just a few weeks.
Crenshaw is the second high profile QB recruit to switch his commitment to a junior college. ENMU signee, Shaun Rutherford will attend Blinn College and play both football and baseball.
