"We all know you share the concern of the well-being of MSU sophomore Robert Grays who was injured in last night’s football game. Robert is bolstered by the presence of his family and teammates.
"The injury of any student, especially in such a public manner, greatly affects us all. We know you will join us in keeping of Robert and his family in your thoughts and prayers. We are in contact with Robert’s family, and have offered any assistance the university can provide.

No. 3 Lions pick up 51-22 win over Eastern New Mexico to begin conference season
The No. 3 Texas A&M-Commerce football team remained unbeaten after a 51-22 win over Eastern New Mexico on Saturday. The Lion air attack went for 358 yards and the Lions scored seven touchdowns in the game to give them their first conference win.
The win brings the Lions to 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Lone Star Conference. Eastern New Mexico falls to 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play...Complete Release
No. 13 @MWSUFootball smacks Hoggies, 35-13, to roll to 2-0
The Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas had some success on fourth down in Saturday night's game against the Midwestern State Mustangs, scoring a touchdown and picking up a first down that helped set up a field goal.
But the No. 13 Mustangs stopped the Javelinas twice on fourth down inside the 10, driving 95 yards for a final score after one of them to take a 35-13 win in the Lone Star Conference opener for both schools.

Defense leads Texans to win over Rams in LSC opener
Tarleton's defense came to the rescue by forcing five turnovers and returning two fumbles for scores in a 30-24 road win over Angelo State to open up Lone Star Conference play.
Tarleton (2-1, 1-0) had to grind until the very end for its second consecutive victory. The Texans only had 291 yards of offense compared to Angelo State's 545 yards.
The Texans appeared to be well on their way to another rout over the Rams (2-1, 0-1) after taking the opening drive of the game 89 yards and capping it off with an 11-yard touchdown run by Adam Berryman...Complete Release

Wolves Use Big Second Quarter to Hold Off Mustangs
Western Oregon utilized a 33-point attack in the second quarter on their way to taking the 58-21 victory over the Western New Mexico football team Saturday afternoon at Altamirano Field.
