LSC Season Recap Part II - Track & Field (Outdoor)

It was another great season for the Lone Star Conference in outdoor Track & Field.  Angelo State swept both titles in the LSC Championship meet, ending ACU's 19 year stranglehold on the men's side.  At the national DII Track & Field Championships, the Texas A&M-Kingsville men finished in 7th place, with 3 individual national champions, while the Angelo State women  finished in 8th place.

The season is not quite over for two Javelinas.  Jeron Robinson and C. J. Griggs are scheduled to compete in the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships June 20-23.  The 2013 Championships will serve as the selection event for the coveted spots to represent Team USA at the IAAF World Championships August 10 - August 18 in Moscow, Russia.  Be sure to check back to see how they fare.
