ASU's Calfee anxious for draft

Coming out of high school, Clay Calfee had only one offer to play baseball at the collegiate level, and that came from a junior college in the Dallas area.
Thursday, Calfee will most likely have his name called by one of 30 major league teams during the 2008 MLB Amateur Baseball Draft.
Calfee would be the first-ever ASU player to be drafted, and his selection would come on the heels of another record-breaking season.
His story almost didn't play out like it has. If it hadn't been for a tip about ASU's new program, he might have gone to that junior college in Dallas, and things might have worked out differently.
