What a great pickup for Tarleton. Don't let a few arrests and being dismissed from Clemson keep you from taking a "ballplayer". Looks like Reismann's philosophy is creeping into the other sports.
Here's a link to one story.

Sounds like West Texas lucked out here.
Did I miss something, When did Reisman take an arrested ballplayer from a D1 school. Sure he has had transfers like every other school in the LSC south but Give me a name...

Pair of BU basketball players arrested
BY ADAM METTRICK
Bradley men’s basketball players Theron Wilson and Tyrone Cole-Scott were recently arrested on alcohol-related charges.

according to below article, kid was in passenger seat while the driver was pulled over for drinking while intoxicated. ..underage drinking by a college student not exactly my idea of a convicted felon....don't condone but i guess we are to believe that no other student athlete at any other lsc school has had athletes that have drank while under age.

Agreed...no doubt in my mind any lsc school would have taken this kid given the opportunity.
Heard reports that Cole-Scott also took an official visit to Angelo State and that ACU was trying to get into mix as well.
Point being....burgalry, fraud, rape, murder...don't even think about it
but sounds like this kid coming back from a party has few drinks like every other typical college kid. Not right, but definetely deserves another chance.
Look, you asked for one name of a D1 transfer who had been arrested. You didn't say it had to be for rape, murder or some other felony. I looked up the most recent transfer and found an arrest in two minutes. For all I know there could be others out there, I just didn't look.
And does it matter if another school is interested in a recruit. Does that make it easier to overlook character flaws? If so, then Tarleton is heading down a slippery slope.
sounds like someone is awfully jealous of Tarleton...
nah...just Reisman jealousy. Smear campaign tactics been used before and will be used again...nothing new.
Bleed Purple!
Oh yeah, I'm jealous. I wish I was a short-tempered, four foot tall egomaniac.
Lol... u probably are!
