- Midwestern State - Played a great game and got the lucky break to win at the end
- West Texas A&M - It would be a shame if they got squeezed out of the playoffs
- Texas A&M-Kingsville - Should have beaten a playoff-bound Valdosta on the road
- Tarleton State - Texans with a great gutsy win over North Alabama
- Abilene Christian - Wildcats may have wrecked West Alabama's playoff chances
- Angelo State - Ram's overcome injuries to win comfortably; QB controversy in 2013?
- Eastern New Mexico - Greyhounds win ugly, but win.
- Incarnate Word - Cardinals not flying high in final LSC season
- Texas A&M-Commerce - Lions look ready for off-season
Week Ten Superlatives
Offense - Keidrick Jackson and Brandon Kelsey - Midwestern State, Khiry Robinson, Dustin Vaughn and Lance Ratliff - West Texas A&M - It would be a shame to leave out any of these guys. Jackson rushed for 149 yards and 2 TDs, and Kelsey added 100 rushing yards and 3 TDs, as well as passing for 248 yards and another TD for the Mustangs. On the West Texas A&M side, Robinson had 147 yards and 3 TDs rushing and 54 yards and another TD receiving, Vaughn threw for 391 and 3 TDs, while Ratliff had 11 catches for 180 yards and a TD.
Defense - Danny Mason, Texas A&M-Commerce - Mason was a one-man tackling machine in the Lion's 7-3 loss at Eastern New Mexico. The senior racked up 17 tackles, with 1.5 for losses and half a sack. The seven points were the fewest allowed since the season finale in 2008, and the 283 yards were the fewest since the season opener in 2011.
Special Teams - Marqui Christian, Midwestern State - with a minute to go and MSU trailing 48-45, Christian picked up the loose ball on a WT bad punt snap, and ran it in 18 yards for the game winning TD in the Mustang's improbable comeback win over West Texas A&M.

Game of the Week - Grand Valley at Saginaw Valley
Lakers need a win to clinch a playoff spot, while West Texas A&M fans will be pulling hard for Cardinals to win this GLIAC rivalry game. If that were to happen and Missouri S&T makes the playoffs instead, it would be a shame considering their strength-of-schedule (or lack thereof) and several unimpressive wins along the way.
