Midwestern State 2010 Football Signings

ICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State coach Bill Maskill announced the signing of 35 prep stars to National Letters of Intent Wednesday on National Signing Day.

"I'm extremely excited about this class," MSU coach Bill Maskill said. "It's the best signing day we've had in quite some time. We addressed many needs and added quality depth primarily on the defensive side of the ball."

The signing class includes eight defensive backs, nine defensive linemen and five linebackers on defense and five offensive linemen, four quarterbacks, two tight ends and a wide receiver on offense.

The Mustangs also added one special teamer.

Midwestern State advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason for the third time in school history and posted a 9-3 record in 2009. It was the Mustangs' 10th-straight winning season.
