Texas A&M Commerce has a great young linebacker core lead by sophomore to be, outside backer Danny Mason.

The Commerce linebackers are led by Stephen DeGrate who was the 2nd leading tackler on the team behind Cory Whitfield. He also had an interception and a fumble return for a touchdown. While we expect big things from Danny Mason it would be hard-pressed to say that he leads the linebackers. Degrate will be leading the entire defense this year.
