Given the oportunity and in the right system, he should make an immediate impact on the team and the LSC. Morriss says he will run the spread which fits him great. Good for te Lions!
He tore up the Div 3 world in High School in 05 and 06. Super fast which should really add an offensive weapon to the Lions new Spread Offense. Think of ECU's Marcus Johnson but with more offensive talent at RB and WR's. That's what you've now got at Commerce. Excellent pick up for the Lions.
Marcus Johnson went to OU out of high school, but I can see where that parallels to a Henderson State transfer. Uh, ok. Whatever.
Wanna bet the Henderson State transfer wins more games than the OU transfer?
I'll take that bet. New coach at ECU will have more of an immediate impact than new coach at Commerce. Neither team will win 7 games, but I look for ECU to win as many or more than Commerce. With or without Marcus Johnson, by the way.
Are you saying that Johnson will not be at ECU any more?
