A two-time all-district selection…as a senior, he completed 164 of 294 passes for 2,037 yards and 23 touchdowns…named team MVP in the season-opening win over Plano East, when he completed 24 of 35 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns…against Holtom, in limited action, he 19 of 28 passes for 373 yards and five touchdowns… earned second team all-district honors…as a junior, he completed 174 of 299 passes for 2,087 yards and 16 touchdowns…also received interest from Michigan State, Southern Mississippi, Tulane and Idaho State.

One of the top linebackers in the state of Missouri, where he was a two-time all-state selection...as a senior, he made 156 tackles – including 100 solo efforts…recorded seven tackles-for-loss, including four sacks…earned Central Ozarks Conference Player of the Year honors in offense as a junior and in defense as a senior…an accomplished wrestler, where he ranks No. 1 in the state of Missouri at 215 lbs.

A four-sport athlete at Juan Seguin High School, where he has participated on the football, wrestling, baseball and track and field teams…a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter on the football team…recorded a program-best number of tackles as a freshman.

Ran for an average of 9.3 yards per carry and 165.6 yards per game as a senior en route to 212 carries for 1,987 yards and 26 touchdowns en route to all-state honors…he had four games in which he ran for over 200 yards…named all-district and District 12-3A Player of the Year…served as team captain during his senior year…member of the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400-meter relay teams in track and field.
