Bennett lifts Rams to defeat Rattlers
The Angelo State University men's basketball team escaped San Antonio with a 65-60 win over St. Mary's on Tuesday night in Greehey Arena to start the season 4-0 for the first time in nine years.

UCO overwhelms Mustangs, 106-57
EDMOND, Okla. — Highlights were hard to come by for Midwestern State Tuesday night at Hamilton Fieldhouse. But the highlights were plentiful for No. 11 Central Oklahoma as the Bronchos scorched Midwestern 106-57 to improve to a perfect 5-0.

A couple of rebuttals to a recent letter in the AGN that was pretty negative toward the WT defensive coaching.

Javs' Perkins, Smith named all-super region
KINGSVILLE — Texas A&M-Kingsville safety Jabir Perkins was named to the first team on the Daktronics All-Super Region 4 Division II Team released Tuesday by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Meanwhile, Perkins' teammate, punter Cody Smith, was a second-team honoree.

Bronchos duo honored
Lineman Jermelle Cudjo and linebacker K.C. Asiodu both earned second-team honors on the elite squad that was voted on by sports information directors of Super 4 Region institutions, which includes schools in the Lone Star Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

McCoy, Sawyer Win Region Award
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Ruzell McCoy and Joe Sawyer continued to win wide-spread acclaim for their performances on the football field for the recently completed season.McCoy, a senior from Frederick, Okla., was voted to the first-team Daktronics All-Super Region 4 team at linebacker while Sawyer, a junior from Ogden, Utah, was a second-team choice at tight end.
