LSCScoop.com received the following statement from Texas A&M-Commerce Athletic Director Carlton Cooper tonight:
"We have a tremendous respect for our school newspaper and the students, who
produce it, and freedom of speech. I am very disappointed that members of our
football program made an error in judgment. We are sorry that this happened.
We will learn from this situation. It will assist in our development, both
personally and professionally. We have cooperated and assisted the campus
police with their investigation."
Carlton Cooper, Texas A&M University-Commerce Athletic Director.
