LSC Softball Power Rankings - Week 3

  1. (1) Angelo State (25-5) Won 2 of 3 from WTAM.
  2. (2) Southeastern Oklahoma (27-4) Have won 16 of last 17 games.
  3. (3) Central Oklahoma (17-7) Swept SWO.
  4. (4) Midwestern State (21-12) Won 3 of 4 with ECU.
  5. (5) Abilene Christian (17-11) Swept TAMK
  6. (11) Tarleton State (12-14) Swept ENMU; five game winning streak also includes 2 over St. Marys
  7. (8) Cameron (17-18) Took 3 of 4 from NSU.
  8. (6) Texas A&M-Kingsville (16-18) Swept by ACU, St. Edwards, swept Newman, TAMUI
  9. (7) Northeastern State (13-13) Lost 3 of 4 to Cameron
  10. (9) West Texas A&M (13-21) Dropped 2 of 3 to Angelo, and all four to Ft Hays
  11. (10) Eastern New Mexico (15-17) Swept by Tarleton, 0-9 in LSC play
  12. (12) East Central (14-16-1) Split with NSU
  13. (13) Southwestern Oklahoma (10-14) Swept by UCO
  14. (14) Texas Women's (10-24) beat DI North Texas, Incarnate Word, ECU, lost twice to SEO

Tarleton State faces St. Mary's again Friday afternoon for a doubleheader, and Cameron and Fort Hays State will also play two.

LSC Notes

Angelo State is ranked #3 in the lates NFCA poll, while SEO moves up to #8. Central Oklahoma is receiving votes. Heartland Conference teams include St. Mary's at #14, and St Edwards at #21.
