WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Midwestern State Athletics Department announced the dedication of Jeff Williams Sports Saturday which feature the football spring game, regular season softball and soccer exhibitions on April 12.Williams, a redshirt freshman football player, is currently going through rehab at the Baylor University Medical Center after he was critically injured in a late night automobile accident in February.
The day will feature MSU’s annual spring game at the practice fields which will be followed by an important Lone Star Conference North Division softball doubleheader at Mustangs Park while the men’s soccer team will play a pair of exhibition contests at the MSU Soccer Field.
Food, family fun, t-shirts, commemorative bracelets and inflatable games will be made available between the game fields with all proceeds going to the Jeff Williams Fund.
