LSC Softball Power Rankings - Week 4

Last week was pretty quiet, no changes in the rankings

  2. (2) Southeastern Oklahoma (29-4) Ready to take over top spot if ASU stumbles.

  4. (4) Midwestern State (23-12)
  5. (5) Abilene Christian (17-11)
  6. (6) Tarleton State (13-15)
  7. (7) Cameron (21-18)
  8. (8) Texas A&M-Kingsville (16-18)
  9. (9) Northeastern State (13-13)
  10. (10) West Texas A&M (15-21)

LSC Notes


Angelo State moves up a spot to #2 in the most recent NFCA poll. Southeastern State is also in the top ten at #7. Central Oklahoma is receiving votes. St. Mary's comes in at #15 and St. Edwards is #20.


The first regional poll is out and the LSC is well represented. Angelo State is #1, SEO is #2, UCO is #5, MSU is #6, ACU is #7. Heartland schools St. Marys and St. Edwards are #'s 3 & 4 respectively, and the RMAC has the #'s 8-10 squads (Colorado School of Mines, Metropolitan State, and Regis).
