Best Overall Team Performance - Texas A&M-Kingsville
The Javelinas defense once again had a stellar game, limiting Midwestern State to just one TD and 161 total yards.  The second half was especially dominant, with TAMK scoring on all four of their possessions, while shutting out MSU.  The Javelinas held the ball for more than 24 minutes, outgained MSU 216 to 27 and allowed just two first downs, one on a penalty, and one on the final play of the game.

Best Team Offensive Performance - Abilene Christian
The Wildcats piled up 527 yards, scored 41 points and controlled the clock for 33:30 in their prime time matchup with West Texas A&M.  Mitchell Gale did suffer his second interception of the season, which WT returned for a TD to go up 27-13, but rebounded to hit Edmund Gates for a 51 yard TD pass to open the fourth quarter.  Darryl Richardson led ACU with 98 yards rushing and 3 TDs, while Darrel Cantu-Harkless added another 82 yards on the ground.

Best Team Defensive Performance - East Central
The Tigers defense limited Texas A&M-Commerce to 311 yards of offense and three TDs (2 Lion TDs came via their defense).  Outside of the three Commerce scoring drives, ECU allowed just 96 yards on 31 plays covering 8 TAMC possessions.

Best Offensive Performance - Trey McVay, Northeastern State
McVay continued his impressive 2010 season with a stellar game against Eastern New Mexico.  The Riverhawks' leading receiver had 12 catches for 175 yards and 3 TDs, including the 30 yard game winner in overtime.  McVay now has 52 receptions for 825 yards and 12 of NSU's 22 TD passes.

Best Defensive Performance - James Williams, Abilene Christian
Williams had three interceptions in the Wildcats win over West Texas A&M.  The first interception came on the Buffaloes second drive, with ACU trailing 7-3.  He returned the ball 24 yards to the WT 27, but ACU was unable to convert the turnover into any points.  Two drives later, Williams got his second pick at the ACU 7 yard line.  Finally late in the third quarter, with WT holding a 7 point lead, Williams got his third interception.  ACU would convert the final two interceptions into 10 points.

Best Special Teams Performance - Garrett Tidwell, Angelo State
With Angelo State holding a slim 16-13 halftime lead, Tidwell returned the second half opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown.   Tidwell leads the LSC with a 28.5 yard average on kickoff returns.
