Series to Watch - ASU at TAMK
Angelo State moved up four spots to #4 in the Collegiate Baseball national poll, while Texas A&M-Kingsville is receiving votes.  TAMK knocked off #7 St. Marys 10-1 earlier this week, spreading the pitching between 7 players to keep everyone fresh for this big weekend series.  ASU leads the LSC with a 2.60 ERA and six shutouts, with TAMK second with a 2.81 mark and 2 shutouts.  Jake Feckley, James Conlee, Rick Reyna and Michael Lange have started 15 games, combining for a 10-2 record, a 2.70 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 87 innings.  Michael Weatherly has saved 4 games with a 2.77 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 13 innings.  For TAMK, Jaden Dillon and Adam Aspaas have been the top starters, combining for a 6-1 record, a 1.78 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 51 innings.  The top 4 out of the bullpen (Zach Pettiford, Adrian De La Garza, Cameron Dullnig and Jeremy Flores) are 3-0 with 4 saves a 0.29 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 31 innings.  The Rams are having a better offensive year, hitting .307 and scoring an average 6.55 runs per game.  TAMK is hitting .250 and scoring 5.31 runs per contest.  ASU has a 14-3 edge in home runs, and the teams are 1-2 in the LSC in stolen bases (TAMK 37, ASU 35).  Six Rams are hitting over .300, led by Ryan Greer's .373.  He also leads the team with 20 runs scord and 11 stolen bases.  The Javelinas have just 3 full-time starters hitting over .300, led by Ben Villafuerte with a .359 mark.

Series to Watch - ACU at TSU
Similar to the baseball matchup, this series features the top pitching teams in the LSC.  ACU currently leads the league with 2.14 ERA.  Caitlyn Crain (8-1, 1.89 ERA) and Shelby Hall (3-0, 2.13 ERA) are the top arms.  The TexAnns are close behind with a 2.38 team ERA.  Samantha Swanda (11-2, 2.05) and Randi Fentress (10-3, 2.64) lead TSU in the circle.  Offensively ACU is batting .292 and scoring 5.1 runs per game, while TSU is hitting .288 and scoring 5.6 runs per contest.  Five ACU players are hitting over .300, with Kimberly Briggs topping the team with a .415 average and 19 RBI.  The TexAnns have 4 players above the .300 mark, and another at .287. Those five have combined for 26 of the team's HRs, 101 of 163 runs, and 107 of 154 RBIs.
