Week Six Superlatives
Offense - Keidrick Jackson, Midwestern State - the LSC's top running back had 193 yards and 3 TDs rushing against #18 West Alabama.  Jackson saved the best for last, breaking a 45 yard TD run on a fourth and one play midway through the fourth quarter, extending a one point lead to eight and giving MSU their fourth straight win.

Defense - Curtis Slater, West Texas A&M - had interceptions on back to back Angelo State drives in the third quarter.  He interecepted his first pass on the WT 15 yard line and returned it 85 for a Buffalo TD, extending WT's lead to 25-3.  Angelo State turned around on the very next possession and drove the ball down to WT's 9 yard line, before Slater ended the threat, picking off a second down pass at WT's 5, returning it 39 yards, setting the Buffs up for another scoring drive.

Special Teams - Cade Stone, Abilene Christian - set the pace for the Wildcats, returning the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown.
