West Texas A&M remains #3 in the AVCA national poll, while Midwestern State still unbeaten moves up three spots to #20. Other regional teams include #9 Washburn, #11 Emporia State, #14 Central Missouri, #15 Truman State, and #16 Pittsburg State.

LSC Players of the Week
Offensive
Laura Prinsen, West Texas A&M, Jr., Rightside Hitter, Spring, Texas/Klein Collins
Prinsen continues to be the force behind the Lady Buffs offense. She tallied 26 kills in 64 attempts for a hitting percentage of .292 in the Lady Buffs' sweeps of two conference opponents. Prinsen still leads the team in kills with a season total of 225 and a hitting percentage of .329. In addition to her kills, she also contributed six assists, one service aces and three block assists. She also tallied 12 digs. Last week, Prinsen was selected as the AVCA national player of the week, an honor that hasn't been given to a WT player since 2003.

Kristen Wilson, Central Oklahoma, So., OH, Moore, Okla./Christian Heritage Academy
Sophomore outside hitter led UCO to a 3-0 week, collecting 47 kills and 22 digs . . . She had 12 kills in a three-set rout of Newman, 14 in a three-set win over East Central and 21 in a five-game LSC win over Southeastern Oklahoma, adding 14 digs against the Savage Storm.

Defensive
Alysha Pritt, Midwestern State, Jr., Middle Blocker, Wichita Falls, Texas/Rider
Pritt turned in a stellar defensive week as No. 23 Midwestern State stretched the longest winning streak in program history to 18 matches with victories at Cameron and Incarnate Word last week. The 6-0 junior middle blocker from Wichita Falls averaged 1.86 blocks and 2.29 digs per set as the Mustangs limited the opposition to a .082 hitting percentage. Pritt had nine digs and seven total blocks while leading MSU with 13 kills in a 3-1 win at Cameron on Thursday before turning in a six-block, seven-dig effort in a sweep of Incarnate Word on Saturday.

Missy Castro, Tarleton State, Sr., Outside Hitter, Azle, Texas/Azle
Castro recorded only 22 digs in helping the TexAnns go 2-0 in LSC play this week, but on Thursday, Castro moved into fifth place on the all-time career digs list at Tarleton. The Azle native recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 13 digs to push the TexAnns past the Pioneers on Saturday. Castro tallied 20 kills and had one block assist on the week. Now with 934 career digs in her career, Castro moves past Angela Spradley who totaled 911 career digs for the TexAnns from 1991-93.

Setter
Allison Schreiber, Midwestern State, Sr., Setter, Windthorst, Texas/Windthorst
Schreiber averaged 10.86 assists and three digs per set in helping No. 23 Midwestern State to a pair of road wins over Cameron and Incarnate Word last week as the Mustangs extended the best start in program history to 18-0. The 5-10 senior from Windthorst had a double-double with 40 assists and 13 digs in a 3-1 win over Cameron on Thursday, then had 36 assists and eight digs in a sweep of Incarnate Word on Saturday.

Meaghan Wedberg, Central Oklahoma, Jr., Setter, Flower Mound, Okla./Marcus
Junior setter led UCO to a perfect 3-0 week, including two LSC wins. Wedberg had 34 assists and hit .750 (6 kills, 0 errors, 8 attacks) in a three-set win at Newman, added 30 assists and five kills in sweep of East Central and collected 51 assists with seven kills in a five-set win over Southeastern Oklahoma.
