MSU football spring game to be fun for everyone - J Scott Russell, Times Record News
The Midwestern State Mustangs have split everything just about right down the
middle — with the exception of head coach Bill Maskill — for today's 24th annual
Maroon & Gold Spring football game. The contest, which will have four 15-minute quarters, is set to begin at noon
on the MSU practice field.
"It'll be fun for the kids and hopefully the fans will see some things they like," Maskill said. "We want it to be fun; we want to see who can play in game-like conditions, and we want to see who will compete and who will finish. We have some marquee positions that are good, but we also have some positions we still need to address — both with starters and backups."
