Spring Power Polls

We're going to try something new - Power Polls for most of the team sports in the LSC.  They will be calculated similar to football - a combination of winning percentage against D2 schools and Strength of Schedule.  It is purely mathematical and does not factor in head to head results.  For Track & Field, we are simply taking the top performances to date and scoring the teams as though they finished in the same order at the LSC meet.  Not exactly scientific, but an interesting way to gauge the teams.

If all goes well, we will begin doing this for volleyball next fall, and basketball in the winter.  We will still do the LSC Scoop Football Power Poll regardless of the other sports.
