Coach Carthel on Chadron State:
They have a very talented offensive line anchored by a huge, mean, physical specimen at LT. they are very balanced with their ability to run the football and throw the ball very effectively. They will be extremely hard to slow down on offense. They have great special teams players and are very sound in that area.
Defensively they are very physical and well coached. They do as good a job as anyone we have played in regards to creating turnovers. It will be a very physical game and we look forward to the challenge of playing in a hostile environment in the football crazed state of Nebraska.
