As if losing all-world QB Daniel Polk, both co-ordinators and most of their offensive line wasn't enough, Midwestern has now lost their out of conference game against Adams State scheduled for the 2008 season.
The Scoop has learned that they have been trying to fill this empty spot in their schedule, but up to this point has been unable to do so. This leaves Midwestern State with only 9 games, at a time when most teams have already filled their 2008 schedules.
Stay tuned to The LSC Scoop for updates.

The Times News Record now has a story on the scheduling hole. Adams State will open their season at Montana State.
A quote from MSU AD Charlie Carr,
"We are working to find a replacement game for Adams State, although it is very
difficult at this point in the year," MSU Athletics Director Charlie Carr said.
"It is particularly disappointing after we fulfilled the away portion of a two
year home and home agreement to have a school back out at this time."
