WTAM outgained NSU by a 629-259 margin, with 141 of the Riverhawks' yards coming on two fourth quarter drives after WT took a 59-10 lead. Led by BeeJay Mathis's 100 yards, MSU rolled up 300 yards on the ground as a team, and Zack Eskridge passed for 356 more. The Mustangs punted just twice on the evening, converted 11 of 17 third downs and held the ball for over 38 minutes.

Team Defensive Performance of the Week - Texas A&M Commerce
The Lions shut down the Savage Storm running game, limiting them to just 31 yards on the ground. Justin Pitrucha did pick up 300 yards passing, but only had one TD on the day and was sacked 7 times. Overall, the Lions held Southeastern Oklahoma 64 yards and 16 points below their season averages.
