Rumors were coming out of Edmond that the entire staff, with the exception of Steve Patterson and possibly one other coach, would not be retained. It would appear that those rumors are mostly true. A quick look at the UCO website today lists Patterson and Calvin Miller as the only assistant coaches, with Steve Dunn and Micah Null still listed as Graduate Assistants.
And in a related note from Troy Shockley of the Abilene News-Record - Joe Bowden (secondary coach for the Bronchos in 2006-7) is one of 86 applicants for the Andrews ISD Head Football Coach/Athletic Director position.

Does anyone know when they are going to start hiring coaches here? It seems that it is taking some time. Are they looking at college level coaches or are they looking at bringing in guys from high school. Any updates here?
