Travis Rose-Southwestern Oklahoma, Jr., 1B, Fort Worth,Texas Richland
Rose hit .429 as SWOSU swept its second consecutive Lone Star Conference series with a 4-0 blanking of West Texas A&M. Rose and his Bulldog teammates have won nine straight, the most by a SWOSU team since 2004. Rose blasted his team-leading fifth home run in a 14-5 win over the Buffs in game two of the series.

Evan Orsak -Eastern New Mexico Sr., Andrews Texas, Andrews High School
Evan Orsak made two appearances in Eastern's four-game series against 11th ranked Cameron, limiting the Aggies to no runs on three hits over six innings. On Saturday, he provided four innings of scoreless relief if the series finale, limiting CU to two hits as the Greyhounds rallied from a 5-2 deficit for a 6-5 victory. Orsak has 12 consecutive scoreless innings of relief and has not given up a run since the season opener on February 1, 2009.
