2007 Recap
Southwestern Oklahoma finished up 6-5 in 2007, and was the ONLY team in the LSC North that finished the season over .500. While 2 of their 6 wins came against Northwestern Oklahoma and Oklahoma Panhandle State, they were also able to pull off a combination of wins against other North schools (A&M-Commerce, East Central and Northeastern) and gain a share of the LSC North title. However, they were 12th in Total Offense and could not get their act together against the top tier LSC schools, being blown out by ACU (50-14), Midwestern (47-10) and Tarleton (43-19)

Big Games
Week 6 - Southeastern Oklahoma - Southwestern has lost 6 straight to the Savage Storm, and their first game against a North opponent is a big one. Will come into this game after back to back weeks against West Texas and Tarleton
Week 11 - Texas A&M-Commerce - The last game of the season against the Lions in Commerce may be big if the Bulldogs can put themselves in a position to make a run at a 2nd straight North Title.
Best Case Scenario
8-3 Playing Oklahoma Panhandle and Northwestern Oklahoma again should be 2 easy wins. Southwestern has alot of swing games this year that could easily go either way (Eastern New Mexico, Angelo State, Northeastern, East Central, Central Oklahoma). If they could somehow pull them all out, and give A&M-Commerce and Southeastern Oklahoma trouble (both away games), they may have another shot at winning the North.
Worst Case Scenario
4-7 The Bulldogs have some tough games on their schedule (@ West Texas, Tarleton, @ Southeastern, @ A&M-Commerce) that will be tough to win. If the breaks don't fall their way in the swing games mentioned above, it could be a rough season for Southwestern.
