Monday evening’s rain didn’t shorten the Midwestern State’s first practice — the lightning that preceded it did.
Still, head football coach Bill Maskill was happy with what the team was able to get done in a workout that had to be shortened by about 30 minutes.
“We missed 7-on-7 and team, but we got everything else in,” he said. “The purpose of today was to introduce drills and give them a feeling of how things go. The coaches were well organized, and as a result, we got a lot of things done.
