The Midwestern State Mustangs got a mixed review on their first day of two-a-days as head coach Bill Maskill wasn’t willing to commit either way as to how the team practiced.
He settled for “it wasn’t bad.”
It rained throughout most of the morning workout and it was cloudy and cooler in the afternoon session.
“I wish I could put a handle on it and get a better read on this team,” Maskill said. “I don’t know if we’re as focused all the time like we need to be. We’re so young and we need to be picking this stuff up better.”
