Top Team Defensive Performance - Northeastern State
The Riverhawks were the only LSC team to hold their opponent to single digit scoring, allowing just 6 points to Southwestern Oklahoma Saturday. NSU had 8 tackles for losses including 5 sacks and limited the Bulldogs to just 188 yards on the night and just 3 drives inside their 40 yard line.

Top Offensive Performance - Scott Grantham, Tarleton State

Grantham led the Texans on two long scoring drives in the fourth quarter, including and 11 play 78 yard drive in which he completed two fourth down passes (one for 42 yards, and the other for 27), setting up the game tying field goal with 12 seconds remaining.

Top Defensive Performance - Dondi Cooks, Texas A&M-Kingsville

On the next Lion possession, Cooks forced another fumble, which the Javelinas recovered and later converted into the game winning touchdown.

Top Special Teams Performance - Garrett Lindholm, Tarleton State
Garrett Lindholm was perfect from the field, converting 2 PATs, and 3 field goals. Lindholm's first field goal was a 44 yarder, getting Tarleton on the scoreboard, and helping stem MSU's momentum. His second FG was a game tying 36 yarder with 12 seconds to play. He was given another opportunity when the Mustangs fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and he came through once again, nailing a team record 55 yard FG as time expired, and lifting Tarleton to an improbable 31-28 comeback win over Midwestern State.
