ACU ADDS TWO TO SIGNING CLASS
Lance Fleming
Director of Athletics Media Relations

ABILENE – ACU head football coach Chris Thomsen announced two additions to the 2010 signing class, including the nephew of a former Wildcat great.

Thomsen announced Thursday the Wildcats had signed both Cy Wilson and Ronald Fuller to national letters-of-intent for the 2010 season. Wilson is a defensive end from Aledo High School, while Fuller is a defensive end from Houston Stafford High School. Wilson is the nephew of former ACU defensive back Mark Wilson, a first team all-America for the Wildcats in 1983.

Cy Wilson had 147 tackles , nine sacks and 21 tackles for loss in 2009, earning first team all-district and all-state honors for Aledo, which finished 15-1 and won the 2009 Class 4A Division II state championship. As a junior in 2008, the 6-2, 210-pound Wilson had 88 tackles, eight sacks and 14 tackles for loss to earn all-district honors. Thomsen said Wilson projects as a linebacker at the collegiate level.

Fuller (6-6, 245 pounds) was a first team all-District 26-3A selection as both an offensive and defensive lineman.

"Both of these kids are really good-looking players and we're excited to be able to add them to our signing class," Thomsen said.
