LSC Roundup 7-6

The West Texas A&M Lady Buff softball team will be taking the same artificial surface in 2013 but it will have a different name.

WT Director of Athletics Michael McBroom announced earlier this summer that Lady Buff Yard, one of the premier softball complexes in all of NCAA Division II, has been renamed Schaeffer Park.

“I simply can’t say enough about Stanley and Geneva and their support of WT,” McBroom said.   “They are true champions of the university who sincerely enjoy each and every success achieved by our students, faculty and staff.   It will be our honor to play softball at Schaeffer Park, one of the finest softball facilities in the nation, in honor of two of the finest people in the WT family.”
