Who they brought in -
The Javelinas brought in some transfers that could make an immediate impact.  QB Bryan Ehrlich, started 15 games the past two seasons at Newberry College, throwing for almost 3,100 yards, with 33 TDs, but also 23 Ints.  WR Clyde Lee, who had 16 catches for 179 yards las year at Boston College, was rated as the #77 WR in the nation by Rivals his senior year at Fort Bend Hightower .  In the secondary, Kenneth Pinkard and Ronnie Ford (both played at TVCC), will add depth and could work their way into the starting lineup.

TAMK also hit the high schools hard.  The San Antonio area yielded SA Express-News All-Area selections Quaylon Jones (3rd team All-State, 4,887 career rushing yards), QB Alex Rios (3,600 passing yds, 26 TDs), WR Jordan Thomas, DE Braedon Robinson and DE Isaiah Carter.  From the Houston area, DL Alex Kuyinu, DE Mason Stewart, DL Jose Arroyo, and DB Tre Oliver are some players to watch.  A little further north, LBs Joe Sikes and Taylor Cauble both were named 2nd team All State.  And the local players weren't overlooked - WR Andres Alaniz (149 receptions, 3,121 yds as a Jr. and Sr.) was a two time 1st team All State, DB Daniel Ramirez was an HM selection, and a quartet of Calallen HS players (RB/WR Marcus Price, OL Jake Brearton, DL Michael Wiser and DB Paul Castillo) all receive All State honors.

Overall Grade - A
Coach Atterberry covered all of the bases with this class.  With a senior-laden team this fall, there were just a few spots that needed immediate help, primarily the secondary.  This class could be a lot of fun to watch in a couple of years.
