QB Malone proves to be an efficient mailman for unbeaten ACU
Do you know who delivers your mail? Odds are, you don't. In fact, you
probably don't even think about it -- unless something goes wrong.
That's exactly what Abilene Christian University expects from its
starting quarterback. Just be a delivery system. Get the ball to the weapons.
Let them do all the work. Be the mailman.
Flemming looking forward to ACU
Two plays weren't enough for Keithon Flemming.
"I got two plays on offense but Coach (Scott) Parr just teased me," the
West Texas A&M sophomore said of getting minimal offensive snaps the first
time the Buffs played Abilene Christian. He was lucky to get that.
Flemming broke a bone in his right hand early in WT's homecoming game
against Midwestern State, the sixth game of the season. He kept playing anyway
and it was during practice the next week that the injury was discovered.
He missed the next four games. Sort of.
