Volleyball: WT falls to Emporia State, 3-0

No. 4 West Texas A&M was swept by No. 5 Emporia State (26-28, 17-25, 29-31) in the semifinals of the NCAA South Central Regional.
Three players reached double-digit scoring, led by Laura Prinsen with 12, followed by Melissa Harper and Natalie Johnson each tallying 11 kills, as WT challenged ESU in the first and third sets.
The Lady Buffs (34-5) tremendous season comes to an end after earning their third straight Lone Star Conference title with a perfect 13-0 record in league play.
