Nationally, West Texas A&M comes in at #21 in the DII rankings. Midwestern fell out of the top 25 as a result of a loss to #10 St Ed’s, but still received votes.

Weekly Recap.
ACU. Visited overmatched St. Mary’s on Friday and walked away with a 5-0 win. This week visits Dallas Baptist for a Thursday evening match, then returns to Abilene for their home opener versus Florida Southern on Saturday.
Angelo State. Defeated Adams State 3-1 before losing to CSU-Pueblo 0-2. Thursday a visit to Odessa to test UTPB before a trip to Dallas to face DBU on Saturday.
Central Oklahoma. Lost to (then #11) St Eds 3-1, then defeated NAIA #18 Oklahoma City U 2-1.
This weekend hosts St Mary’s and Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Tuesday finds them in Dallas trying DBU.
East Central. Defeated University of the Ozarks 9-0 and DIII Hendrix 4-0 on a swing through Arkansas.
This weekend joins Central Ok for a pair of matches against Science and Arts of Oklahoma and St Marys.
Midwestern. Ranked #20 nationally at the time, defeated NAIA Oklahoma City U 3-1 after falling behind 1-0. Coming from behind against a ranked opponent reveals a little about the fortitude of this side. Fell to St Eds 2-0 in a match delayed multiple times for weather. The defeat to St Eds cost the Mustangs a national ranking – temporarily – they’ll be back.
Northeastern. Defeated A&M International 4-0 and St Mary’s 1-0. This weekend a match against Drury will tell if the Riverhawks are for real, and Harding visits for a match next Tuesday.
ENMU. Defeated U of the Southwest 7-1, before losing to New Mexico Highlands 3-2 and a 2OT loss to Fort Lewis 2-1. This week bring two matches against lightweight opponents in Wayland Baptist and Lubbock Christian (first year program).
Incarnate Word. Tied Newman 1-1 in a 2OT match. Thursday tests UT-Brownsville .
A&M-Commerce. Defeated Newman 1-0. This weekend’s matches are against Harding and Florida Southern.
West Texas A&M. Lost to #14 Fort Lewis 1-0 and defeated UTPB 3-0 on Tuesday. The Buffs are currently ranked #21 nationally. This week a Friday match against St Eds in Austin should be the best soccer in this region.
TWU. Lost to #7 Colorado School of Mines 2-0, then defeated Colorado Christian 1-0.
This weekend faces two strong opponents in N Alabama and St Eds.
SWOSU. Defeated Northwest Oklahoma 2-1, and New Mexico Highlands 3-2. Against NM Highlands the Bulldogs were down two goals before earning the win. Friday Newman comes to Weatherford and Tuesday Oklahoma City U comes to visit.
